Aparna Mulagund of Chetan PU Science College, who came fourth in the State in the II pre-university exams, has got the 12th rank in the Common Entrance Test, the results of which were announced on Saturday.

Ms. Mulagund has bagged the 12th rank at the State level CET in the stream of Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Sciences. She has also bagged the 18th rank in the Agriculture stream, 21st in Veterinary Sciences, 44th in B Pharma and D Pharma, and 202nd in Engineering.

G.V. Valasang, chairman of the Dyappanavar-Valasang Educational and Academic Trust, said the student had scored 51, 54 and 58 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, respectively.

Prof. Valasang, working president Mahesh Dyappanavar, principal Sujata Dhaduti and others congratulated Ms. Mulagund at a function held in the college.

Ms. Mulagund said she was waiting for the NEET ranking and was interested in pursuing a course in the medical sciences.
