Om Sterling Global University (OSGU) today announced that it will give global exposure to the students of Nagaland.
OSGU was established under Haryana Private Universities Act 2006 as per Section 2F of UGC Act 1956.
A team of OSGU are currently in Nagaland as part of the ongoing educational fair in Kohima and Dimapur.
The Educational Fair in Kohima concluded today. The next leg of edu fair will be held on from May 24 to 25 at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily.
Addressing a press conference here today at Hotel De Oriental Grand, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Professor of Om Sterling University said that Om Sterling Global University is located in Juglan village, Hissar, Haryana and it will be the most hi-tech on the global scale so far, where School of Engineering and Technology, School of Management and Finance, School of Architecture and Design, School of Advanced Science, School of Paramedical Science, School of Yoga and Naturopathy, School of Teacher Education, School of Pharmaceutical science and School of legal study will perform in a hi-tech manner.
In the message given by the University, Chancellor Dr. Punit Goyal stated that in 2007, the Om Group of Institutions, which was established with the objective of establishing a quality dimension in the field of education, has now officially called Om Sterling Global University, been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
There are nine different departments (schools) in the university. These included School of Engineering and Technology, School of Management and Finance, School of Architecture and Design, School of Advanced Science, School of Para Medical Science, School of Yoga and Naturopathy, School of Teacher Education, School of Pharmaceutical Science, School of Legal Study. There will be facility for Certificate Courses to Diploma, Graduation, Post Graduation and Ph.D. in nine different departments.
The process of admission starts this month. A total of 2730 seats have been approved.
OM Sterling Global University will work on the student’s overall development, said Dr. Kumar adding that facilities in this university will be better than other government and non-governmental universities.
Special focus will be given on campus placement so that the students studying in the university can stand on their feet while completing their studies, he said adding that hostels, sports and other facilities are available for students in the University.
In this, he invited students from Nagaland to get admission in this university and avail golden opportunity.
