SPOKANE, Wash. — Natural Grocers is set to move into the old Hastings on East 29th Avenue on Spokane’s South Hill.

Natural Grocers is a grocery store chain that sells everything from organic produce to free range eggs to health coaching. The new location will be located at 2512 East 29th Avenue.

Kevin Stees, Natural Grocers Vice President of store construction, has paid more than $2,800 in fees to the City of Spokane so far for a commercial building remodel, according to city permits. The Spokane Health District has also reviewed the store’s food preparation procedures and the construction plans.

Natural Grocers already has a Spokane location on North Division Street near Northtown Mall. There is also a location in Coeur d’Alene on West Neider Avenue.

Hastings was a music and bookstore chain. It went out of business in the fall of 2016.
