According to Soil Associations recent Organic Market Report, sales of organic food and drink in the UK rose by 4.5% last year to a record £2.45bn and is on target to hit £2.5bn by the end of 2020.
The Natural Food Show is therefore a must-visit and this year feature 400 food exhibitors (and over 140 first-time exhibitors) displaying a vibrant choice of organic, sustainable and delicious healthy food products. Set to take place at the ExCel in London from 19th – 20th April the show, which is part of Natural & Organic Products Europe, will be be displaying artisan foods from 30 countries and delicacies on eight dedicated country pavilions.
On show will be The Soil Association’s Organic Hub pavilion, displaying products from companies including Nut Power, Tulsi Spirit and The Tomato Stall. The New Product Showcase is where products launching at the event or within the last six months will be showcased, and visitors can put forward their favourites for the Natural & Organic Awards Europe 2020.
The Natural Food TALKS Theatre will feature big names in the industry discussing issues impacting the food industry today, such as an ‘in conversation’ with self-proclaimed ‘veg nerd’ Guy Singh-Watson, Riverford’s founder and farmer. The Soil Association will host a panel discussion with independent retailers on how they communicate organic benefits to their customers.
This year will also see a bigger Vegan World area and new Spritz area.
