Baby Sussex hasn’t even arrived yet, but we already know what type of parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might be. We’ve already seen the Duke and Duchess of Sussex interacting with small children during their various royal engagements. Also, the pair are very close with their nephews, Prince George, and Prince Louis and their niece, Princess Charlotte.

From a private life away from the prying eyes of the public to a feminist mindset –Markle and Prince Harry are doing things their way. Will Markle also make her own baby food?

Will Meghan Markle made Baby Sussex’s baby food?

Both the duke and duchess are focused on health and sustainability –and as a result, they are installing a plot for an organic garden on the grounds of Frogmore Cottage. An unnamed source told Daily Mail that the garden will be for fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Apparently, the duke and duchess are determined to grow as much food as they can themselves. The insider explained, “[Meghan] regularly cooks for Prince Harry, and the cottage will be the perfect place for her to prepare meals with some homegrown produce from their own garden.”

With fresh organic vegetables and fruit at her disposable, it seems like Markle will make Baby Sussex’s food by hand. A close friend of the duchess‘ told People, “Her California roots are coming through,” and added, “She’s being mindful of what she puts in her body and on her skin and even her at-home cleaning supplies. [She] is “looking for natural things” and will “probably make her own baby food. It’s going to be clean living for this baby.”

Inside Baby Sussex’s vegan nursery

To bring her vision for Baby Sussex’s nursery to life, Meghan Markle used a mood board. The nursery was decorated by Vicky Charles, the design director of Soho Farmhouse.

Royal insider Katie Nicholl told Vanity Fair, “Don’t expect to see any baby pink or baby blue. Apparently, it’s going to be a monochrome palette—whites and grays, I’m told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex’s nursery.” The nursery will be painted with eco-friendly vegan paint that is eucalyptus-infused. From Markle’s fashion choices we know that she loves color as well –she and the prince may decide to add bold pops of color to the room like rugs and pillows once the little one is born.

Though Baby Sussex’s nursery is mostly Markle’s modern California vision, Prince Harry also added his own special touches including “top-of-the-line cameras, security windows, and a state-of-the-art stereo system.”

How will Meghan Markle parent Baby Sussex?

Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, is also moving to the U.K. for some time to help Prince Harry and Meghan Markle adjust to life with Baby Sussex. Ragland is a former social and avid yogi who has inspired Markle throughout her life.

Markle’s new home will also enable her to get a slice of her non-royal life back when Baby Sussex is born.A source told HELLO!, “Harry and Meghan will have plenty of privacy as Frogmore Cottage is located in the Home Park, which is off limits to the public. This means they can enjoy country walks, with Meghan able to push her buggy around the park without being snapped by photographers or members of the public.”
